Since then, I have landed a feature in a Redman music video, featured articles in the NY Post, performances in off-Broadway shows, a bunch of flyers and hosting of nightclubs and special events, a ton of runway fashion shows (despite me only being 5’2” so don’t let anyone tell you that you cant do something), featured on a bunch of websites. I am also # 4 on the list of NYC’s Most Wanted Top Urban Model’s list. Never give up on anything, it doesn’t hurt to try. AND DON’T WORRY I WONT FORGET ABOUT THE LITTLE PEOPLE!!! LOL

I also work for a Plumbing Contractor full time, so NO I do not stand in front of cameras all day and take pictures for a living. I wish it was that easy! lol
I make things happen. I don’t sit on my ass and wait for people to hand me things and I don’t wait around for the “right guy” to come along to “support and take care of me” like everyone says I should. I am a big girl, I CAN DO IT ALL BY MYSELF. Your money and flashy things don’t impress me. If I want something I will work my ass off and get it myself. I am not an item, I cannot be bought, won, flattered or manipulated so don’t try it. Don’t feed me lies, I can see right through them.

At the same time I appreciate everything I am given. I never had the world handed to me, I never really had nice things until I learned that if I wanted them, I had work for it. Happiness can’t be bought. I am not materialistic, I am very content with my life, the things and people I have in it. I wouldn’t change a thing even if I could. Material things just make us feel something that is just temporary satisfaction in which my friends and family provide satisfaction to last a lifetime. I have to say that I definitely live my life exactly the way I want to. I work, I do what I feel is necessary when the time is right, I don’t make promises I cant keep – I am human though, I make mistakes. I don’t need people telling me what they think is right or wrong. Sure everyone has a right to have an opinion, as do I. Mine is ITS MY LIFE, IM GONA LIVE IT LIKE I WANT TO AND NO-ONE IS GOING TO CHANGE THAT =) If I make mistakes, I’m the one that gets burned so let me make them. If you’re a friend your not going to turn to me, point your finger and say “I told you so!” you’ll be there to help me back on my feet. Life is crazy, its not like your getting out alive right? I don’t think anyone really ever gets it right anyways. That’s just my opinion.

Respect. I treat everyone with the same respect as I expect in return. I don’t judge people without knowing them so I don’t expect you to judge me. Honesty and self respect are the most important things in life and confidence is what gives a person the integrity they need to respect themselves and be honest. Regrets, I have so many different outlooks on this. I can say I have a few but I would be criticizing myself. Regardless if it was right, wrong or indifferent; whatever I did at that point is exactly what I wanted and made me happy so does that make me a bad person? I don’t think so. Good or bad, it made me the person I am today.

I grew up in Houston TX, I was pretty typical to my environment, had a lot of friends, and I got into the occasional trouble that teenagers get into. I pulled it all together for high school though, and I’d say I didn’t do too bad for myself, all things considered. A lot of people assume that I’m “stuck up” or conceited, but that notion melts pretty fast after just spending a few minutes with me. What’s up with the Miss Rabbit thing you ask? Well, growing up, one of my favorite movies was “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” and I was so taken with the character Jessica Rabbit, she’s a sexy character, a total babe, and it was just coincidental I suppose that my real name just so happens to be Jessica, and a lot of my friends knew this was my movie, so the name started and stuck. I’ve chosen to just shorten it to “Miss Rabbit” because of the number of people making reference to “Jessica Rabbit” with their names, so I’ve just got to be different.

I got into the picture taking thing like most girls these days, I had so many people telling me that I should do it so I finally gave it a shot. I did local things here and there, until I found my way on the set of Paul Wall’s “Break ’em off Real Bad” video, and around that time is when things started to change for me. I met Dwyane Darden from Summerbunnies.com on the set of a calendar shoot, and we just fell into business mode almost instantly.

Within a couple of months, I was shooting for a few magazines,
and I’m featured on the 2008 Summerbunnies calendar along with Lyric, and now here I am telling you my story. I love dressing up, doing the makeup and hair thing, and I love the attention that all of this brings, but even moreso, I have the business focus to know that I’m not going to do very much for free, and I also know that right behind me is that next hot girl just waiting to take my spot when my time is done, so there is definitely a post-model career plan in development. My goal is to be very well known and paid in my newfound field of entertainment/modeling, and guess what? I need your help–you got me on this one?

I love to have fun, and that involves good friends, good food, basically I’m enjoying life at it’s fullest right now. As far as the site? It’s hot, you KNOW it’s hot, and I’m not bragging, but it’s hot…! Carmella Garcia (née Carmella Danielle DeCesare , born July 1, 1982) is an American model who was Playboy magazine’s Miss April 2003 and Playmate of the Year for 2004. Carmella is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. Carmella was featured in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the players’ wives feature. Carmella is Jeff Garcia’s wife and considered one of the hottest wives in the NFL.

Biography:

Carmella Danielle DeCesare was born on July 1, 1982, in Avon Lake, Ohio. She had the good fortune of being raised by two caring parents, and her father made a decent living working for UPS. Little did they know (or probably care to) that their little girl would someday become the object of fantasy for millions of men worldwide.

Carmella had a knack for schoolwork and continued her studies after high school. At college, she studied business administration. But beneath a serious demeanor, Carmella longed to be famous. In fact, she had always nursed ambitions of becoming a model. In early 2002, barely 19 years old, she decided that she would have to take the proverbial bull by the horns and make her dream come true.

Her first, bold step towards doing so was to sign up for a FOX reality show called Who Wants To Be A Playmate Centerfold?. This special followed Playboy magazine’s nationwide search for the perfect Miss July. From hundreds of hopeful applicants, the judges honed down the selection to 12, one of whom would go on to take the prize.

It was no surprise that Carmella made it to the final 12. She was so stunning that she dazzled the judges. However, Carmella felt uneasy about the environment. Truth be told, she couldn’t stand the ever-present cameras.

Carmella felt that the show was violating her privacy and the producers were displaying a lack of respect toward her. She outright left the production — leaving her dream behind in order to hang on to her integrity.

Hugh Hefner interested in Carmella

When Playboy’s founder, Hugh Hefner, learned that Carmella was leaving the show, he had one of his secretaries contact her with an invitation to his birthday party.

They say that the best business deals are made at parties, and this was the case for the Ohio native. Hefner personally asked Carmella if she would ever consider changing her mind about posing for his magazine. They agreed to set up a test shoot.

Carmella decesare is Cybergirl of the Month

As a result of the trial shoot, Carmella was featured on the Playboy website and named Cyber Girl of the Month for February 2003.

Carmella had always been a good girl and feared her parents’ reaction. At first, they were uncomfortable with the idea of their daughter’s body being exposed to the entire world. But eventually, they came around and supported her decision.

Being as grounded as she was, Carmella did not quit her day job. Even as her modeling career heated up, Carmella continued working at the title agency that had hired her before she started dabbling in posing.

It was apparent to everyone who saw Carmella’s early photo shoots that she shouldn’t be confined to cyberspace. The people at Playboy also understood this.

Consequently, they decided that they should give her a more glamorous title. Carmella was invited back to the photo studio and was named Playmate of the Month for April 2003.

The issue sold like hotcakes, and Carmella’s popularity soared. She soon made appearances on shows like Street Smarts, The Howard Stern Show and a special Playboy edition of the hit game show Family Feud.

2003 was a great year for playmates and guys who like to stare at them. With a pool of such beauties as Laurie Fetter, Audra Lynn and Divini Rae, picking just one made for some fierce competition. Nevertheless, in the June 2004 issue of the magazine, readers learned that Carmella had been chosen as Playmate of the Year.

During the summer of 2004, the popular Raw Is War wrestling show tried something a little different. Instead of focusing on their WWE wrestlers, they decided to hold what they called a Diva Search, a beauty pageant of sorts with $250,000 at stake.

Carmella signed up for this contest and made it to the final two, eventually losing out to Christy Hemme. It surely didn’t hurt that she appeared again in Playboy in their August 2004 issue.

In spite of all the publicity Carmella’s been getting, she continues attending college and is hoping to get her master’s degree. Before settling down with a family of her own, she’d like to have a career working in sales for a pharmaceuticals company when her modeling days are over.

quarterback for the Cleveland Browns — although the couple did undergo some turmoil recently after Terrell Owens, Garcia’s former teammate, questioned the QB’s sexuality. Carmella currently resides in Westlake, Ohio.
